SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Academy Foundation, a non-profit
voluntary organization has undertaken the task of providing primary, secondary and higher education to underprivileged
children in Bharat (India). The academy has come up with a
unique sponsorship program for economically poor students in
pursuit of higher education. The academy will provide financial
aid to students who have secured ranks in the entrance exams for
their respective courses. The money the academy provides will be
towards the tuition fee and in special situations money will be
provided towards expenses incurred during the period of
training. The academy does not show any bias towards any
individual based on their religion, caste or sex.
Applicants have to apply for the scholarship program through the online application
available on the official website. There is no charge for the
application process. The organization does not entertain any
private individuals in the application process. The organization
is not responsible for any money collected by private
individuals for the application. The applicants have to provide
all the information requested in the application. Failure to
provide information or furnishing false information will result
in disqualification of the application. If the applicant does
not have a phone or e-mail account, phone number of a reliable
source with whom the organization can communicate has to
be provided. Once the application is processed, the organization
will contact the applicant by phone, e-mail or letter for
further information including bio-data,
hall ticket, and financial statement. The
organization will verify the applicants credentials through reliable sources.
The organization will send a letter or an e-mail to the
applicant after he is selected by the executive board. The applicant
will be provided with the details of amount of money he will be
entitled to. The organization will pay the amount towards
tuition fee to the institution the applicant has been accepted
into. The organization does not provide money in cash for living
expenses nor other expenses incurred during the period of
education except in very special situations. The executive body
has laid down the criteria for an applicant to apply for the
sponsorship program. It takes 6-8 weeks to process the
application and If an applicant does not receive any information
from the organization within 8 weeks then it is deemed that the
application was processed but not approved. The organization
gives due importance to meritorious students
in each category (OC, BC, SC, and ST). Economic status of the
applicant will be the deciding factor.
We encourage applicants to enroll as volunteers of Saraswati
Academy Foundation. It is not mandatory for an applicant to
enroll as a volunteer of the organization to apply and avail the benefits.
Volunteers are not entitled to any privileges nor have any
influence over the functioning of the organization. The Academy
welcomes suggestions and accepts constructive criticism. It is
the discretion of the executive board to approve or deny the
request of an applicant . The Academy aims to serve the society
better by reaching out to all the people. Due to limited
resources the academy will provide scholarship to the most
deserving applicant. The organization does understand the
frustration of some of the applicants for being turned down. The organization strives its very best to help the
most needy.
The academy provides scholarship to students for one academic
year. The organization does not guarantee scholarship for the
next academic year. Students have to re-apply each academic year
to be approved. The organization will take into
consideration the academic progress of an applicant throughout
the training period. Persons who have trouble with the law,
members of any antisocial organization, and students who are involved in
disruptive behavior in their respective college, community will
be disqualified. People
with tainted background will not be entertained by the
organization under any circumstances. Finally the organization requests your support and co-operation
to serve the students and the society better.
