How its implemented?.

     Saraswati Academy Foundation has envisioned a dream project Matrubhoomi, to provide a platform for all Bharatiyans to serve their motherland. The project is unique in its own way that it facilitates non resident Bharatiyans living far from home to connect and help their people. The sponsors adopt their own village or a village of their choice to undertake the project. Each individual  has an opportunity to bring in his experience and expertise to uplift the downtrodden.

     The donors of this program facilitate all the activities of the project in their respective village. If they choose not to, the Academy appoints an individual of their choice to oversee the activities. The Academy monitors and reviews the project activities regularly with a good feedback system. The Academy recruits volunteers in the villages to implement the project. The Academy also employs part-time teachers in villages to supplement the basic education with special tuitions after school hours.

     The Academy works hand in hand with the local community to run the project smoothly. The students, parents and the elders of the village are active members of the project. The Academy welcomes all interested parties to be part of this program to make it a success. Each village in this project has a separate webpage in this site highlighting in detail all the activities undertaken. The webpage also bears the sponsors information. Activities under Matrubhoomi project

Admit all children under age 15yrs to school and readmit school dropouts.

Prevent child labor by educating parents and elders in villages .

Donate  school bags, books, pens etc to school children.

Provide free tuitions to school children in villages.

 Prepare students for exams by conducting tests weekly, monthly and annually.

Promote science, maths, yoga and cultural clubs in villages.

Conduct weekend discourses on culture, tradition, and human values.

Award meritorious students and inspire all young generations.

Donor is the active member of the matrubhoomi team and serves as the fecilitator.

Donors of the matrubhoomi project can choose the tile of the project.
